Welcome to the official AISS Schema v0.2.
This document outlines the current technical structure, system flow, and development roadmap of the AI SlowmoSmoother.
1. System Overview
AISS (AI SlowmoSmoother) is a precision video time-modulation engine designed for cinematic slow-motion creation.
The system operates entirely offline, using a custom time-warp architecture and an internal sidecar-driven mapping logic.
- Frame-accurate video mapping
- Custom FFT-based audio engine
- Unified timeline model
- Deterministic output pipeline
- Sidecar JSON as Single Source of Truth
2. Core Components
- Video-Pipeline – frame extraction, modulation, interpolation.
- Audio-Pipeline – frequency-domain manipulation, phase-preservation, limiter.
- Mapping Engine – unified monotonic time map based on
mapping.json.
- SidecarLoader – validation, structure consistency, advanced clamping rules.
- Pipeline Runner – final builder, metadata, error handling.
3. Current Progress (Post-Sync Fix)
- Video and Audio pipeline validated
- Timewarp system fully synchronised
- All mapping conflicts resolved
- Legacy engines removed
- System in stable state, rebuild errors eliminated
4. Roadmap
4.1 Validation Phase
Ensuring correct output under all presets:
- Slowdown range: 0.05 – 1.0
- Multi-segment mapping tests
- Bezier curves
- Fixed-duration mode
4.2 Audio Quality Phase
- Phase coherence refinement
- Limiter smoothing
- Adaptive energy thresholds
- Vocoder upgrade (AI-assisted 2026)
4.3 Export & Pipeline
- FFmpeg finalisation
- Sidecar-Validator expansion
- Pipeline Runner hardening
- Metadata + stable JSONL logs
- Optional GUI-Stub
4.4 Feature Phase
- Auto-Mapping Generator
- AI-Assisted mapping (2026)
- Preview engine with caching
- Presets 2.0 (Cinematic, Smooth, Dramatic)
